Thirty-five of SCP authors will be sharing their favorite family recipes.  Being Italian-Ameircan we sure love our coffee, espresso and cappuccino, along with a high calorie desert.  One of my family tradition is Struffoli, aka Honey Balls.  Oh how we love these.  Sometimes we don't even add the honey to them.  We pop them into our mouths like popcorn. STRUFFOLI INGREDIENTS 8 Cups  Flour 1 Cup Sugar 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp baking powder 1 tsp cinnamon 1 cup crisco (regular or butter flavored) 1 stick butter 9 eggss 2 Tbs whiskey Mix all ingredients together with your hands.  Texture is best when on the dry side.  Roll into small balls the size of a nickel. In a deep fryer or macaroni pot, fill 1/3  the way with vegetable oil.   Drop balls in by the spoon fall. Cook slowly until they are golden brown. You can add honey on the side. CHOCOLATE BALLS ...

Welcome to this weeks Tuesday Tales to the word prompt Spider. Pia has gotten herself into some situation.  And it continues... Pia’s heart palpitated as she ran to her car. The two envelopes dug into her butt cheeks so badly, she had to pull over a few blocks away from her house.   Releasing the button on the side of the seat, she pushed it back in order to lean forward and grabbed the two envelopes out of her pants, placing them on the dashboard facing her. Fifteen minutes later, she still stared at the two envelopes marked Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wildes.   Glancing up at the windshield, she spotted a black spider the size of a quarter staring down at her.   Pia blinked her eyes and shook her head, hoping the spider wasn’t a bad sign.
