Waiting for Tonight

I wait for tonight to live my dreams of today.
To feel your fingers slid softly down my cheeks
bringing forth a shiver elevating throughout my heart.
I close my eyes and I’m lost in you,
nothing else seems to matter
There is silence except for the sound of your breathe
and the sound of our bodies pressing against each other’s.
I’m lost within you
from a single kiss and your gentle touch.
I yearn for your love
and the way I feel every time you take me in your arms.
I set the scene
with red candles
red wine out of a red stemmed clear goblets
and the finest red satin negligee.
I open my eyes
as the time is nearing for our rendezvous.
I can’t wait to feel the passion explode within me
from our first kiss at my front door.
I can’t get enough of you
as I kiss your lips, cheeks
and wrap my arms around your neck.
The wait is over when you arrive.
We let the passion take over,
for tonight is our dream.

Coming soon, my Debut Novel "Roses" by Secret Cravings Publishing.

Black Friday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Black Friday Blog Hop. I am not a Black Friday Shopper.  You ask why?  Because I was on the other side of the door. I worked at Toys R Us for five years.  And I worked every Black Friday.  I would spend Thanksgiving with my family, and then rush home to try to get a few hours sleep before going to work at 3:30 AM in the morning. I'd get to work and fight with the crowds to get through the exit door into the store.  By 4:00 AM the customers are crushed against the front door, some their noses against the glass.  Electronics and the hottest dolls are on the top of everyone's list.  Despite the complete mayhem, I must admit it was one of favorite days of the year to work, along with Christmas Eve. In my eyes, the main theme of all the Black Friday mayhem is love, getting the best deals to make our family, friends and love ones happy. Now you want to talk about love, I am giving away a copy your choice Roses or The Boardwalk . ...

Wounded Warriors Project Blog Hop

Christmas is about family, tradition and memories.  Through the years I've kept up with my grandmother's tradition of making Christmas cookies, which I might add I love doing and sharing. This past year, after being a single parent for 17 years, I met the love of my life and got married three months later.  Now we are making our own traditions and box full of memories. For the first time in over ten years, I have taken out Christmas decoration, which were packed away with no future to be seen again, expect for being passed on to my kids. But not this year.  My husband John and I combined our Christmas decorations, decorated all three floors of our townhouse transporting our home into a winter wonderland. My four foot tree is fully decorated in the den and his eight foot tree is in my living room with a collaboration of both our ornaments making for the perfect tree. We bought new ornament and decoration to make our new memories to go with our new life to...
