Indulgent Blog Hop

Welcome to the Guilty Indulgence Blog Hop. Thank you for stopping by and for your support.

Everyone has a guilty indulgence and this is the place to share that. I'm going to expose to my readers my true indulgence. I try my best to control myself, but when I pass a lingerie store I get out of control. In my novel The Boardwalk, Brooklyn DeMelli has the same obsession. She loves lingerie. Not your usual silk nighty, but the lace, garter belt, thigh highs and black stilettos kind of outfit.

She visits her friend Linda at Linda Lingerie Boutique.
who owns Linda Lingerie Boutique, which houses some of the most sexiest outfits in all of Staten Island, New York.

Since Brooklyn hadn't been in a relationship or had particular man in in her life, she stopped buying lingerie. The fun part about wearing lingerie is to model it in front of the man you love. She had lost her interest in lingerie, but now, she wants to buy something special just in the event, they took their dating a little more seriously.

From September 16th through 22nd during the Guilty Indulgence Blog Hop enter to receive a copy of "The Boardwalk.

The Boardwalk

After an accident at work, Brooklyn DeMelli walks every day down at the boardwalk as a way to keep active and have a semi normal social life. She meets up with the regular morning walkers, while enjoying the beauty of the beach and the scent of the ocean. To keep busy she started her own company, making beaded jewelry for parties and flea markets.

Mario Morales is the hippy that plays acoustic guitar every morning at different ends of the boardwalk. The music captivates Brooklyn. Following the muse, she meets Mario who turns out to be a narcotics detective working undercover on a huge investigation. When Mario finds out Brooklyn is inadvertently involved in a drug trafficking ring, it leads to a series of events, which puts Brooklyn’s life in jeopardy, while forming a romantic bond between them.

Black Friday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Black Friday Blog Hop. I am not a Black Friday Shopper.  You ask why?  Because I was on the other side of the door. I worked at Toys R Us for five years.  And I worked every Black Friday.  I would spend Thanksgiving with my family, and then rush home to try to get a few hours sleep before going to work at 3:30 AM in the morning. I'd get to work and fight with the crowds to get through the exit door into the store.  By 4:00 AM the customers are crushed against the front door, some their noses against the glass.  Electronics and the hottest dolls are on the top of everyone's list.  Despite the complete mayhem, I must admit it was one of favorite days of the year to work, along with Christmas Eve. In my eyes, the main theme of all the Black Friday mayhem is love, getting the best deals to make our family, friends and love ones happy. Now you want to talk about love, I am giving away a copy your choice Roses or The Boardwalk . ...

Wounded Warriors Project Blog Hop

Christmas is about family, tradition and memories.  Through the years I've kept up with my grandmother's tradition of making Christmas cookies, which I might add I love doing and sharing. This past year, after being a single parent for 17 years, I met the love of my life and got married three months later.  Now we are making our own traditions and box full of memories. For the first time in over ten years, I have taken out Christmas decoration, which were packed away with no future to be seen again, expect for being passed on to my kids. But not this year.  My husband John and I combined our Christmas decorations, decorated all three floors of our townhouse transporting our home into a winter wonderland. My four foot tree is fully decorated in the den and his eight foot tree is in my living room with a collaboration of both our ornaments making for the perfect tree. We bought new ornament and decoration to make our new memories to go with our new life to...
