Holiday Gifts of Love Blog Hop

Welcome to the Holiday Gifts of Love Blog Hop. The hop will be running from December 14th through 17th.  I will be giving away a copy of my eBook Roses or the Boardwalk.  (Your choice.)

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday.  What I love the most is decorating the house and baking cookies.  The scent of cookies lingers through the house for days.  One of my favorite cookies to bake is the seven layer cookie.  They are fun and colorful.  I love making trays of cookies and bringing them around to my friends. I make so many different cookies from scratch and decorating each.

I believe in love and the magic of Christmas.  I’m a Hallmark and Lifetime Movie Christmas Movie junkie.  I love them all.  I especially like watching the city woman going home to her small town and finding love again.  I especially like when love comes when and where you least expect it.

In Roses, Nikki Petrino finds true love when she accidently runs into Drake Dente in Acapulco.  They immediately hit it off sending their life into a tailspin.  Secrets are revealed pushing their love to the limit.

Brooklyn DeMelli also finds love in an unpredictable place proving that things aren’t always what they appear to be, in The Boardwalk.

To be entered into the grand prize and be eligible to win a copy of my book, I’ll ask that you become a friend of my blog, and tell me what your favorite holiday memory is along with your email address so you can be contacted.

My special memory is driving around on Christmas Eve with my mom, grandmother, aunt, my brother and my two cousins looking at all the Christmas Decorations.  We started this tradition when I was twelve, and even after my grandmother and aunt died, I continued this tradition with my kids.

To all my writer friends and readers, I’d like to wish you all a happy and healthy holiday season full of love and happiness!

Thank you for stopping by.  Happy Holiday Gifts of Love Blog Hopping!

  5. Even though we were extremely poor financially growing up, Mom always made sure we got one present on Christmas. Sometimes is was a toy, usually it was clothes. And we alway had a stocking full of fruit and nuts with one little toy like a matchbox car on top.

    Thanks for the hop

  6. My mom didn't want me so she only made sure only my older brother got something for Christmas. I hated Christmas and everyone believed in Santa growing up but I knew he wasn't real and as a kid lost a good amount of friends over it. So my favorite Christmas was when I went to spend the Holidays with a fiance and his entire family. It blew my mind how many people would get to together in this double wide trailer and all the food. Everyone had a small gift for everyone else. Well everyone but me.But somehow they all had a little something for me. I couldn't help the tears that flowed from my eyes.

  8. One of my favorite Christmas Romance Books is The Untamable Rogue by Annette Blair! The story is about Ashford Blackburne Fifth Earl and he has to get married and get his willing bride pregnant before Christmas or his grandfather won’t let him inherit his money. Ash truly needs to inherit the money because his late father squandered it all away and he is taking care of his mother. After getting stood up at the alter, again, Ash and his friends go to the local pub where the owner plays a drunken Ash in a card game…his consolation prize is the pubs daughter Larkin, who he wants to get ride of. Ash has to learn to forgive…Larkin has to learn how to trust…can two completely different people find love together. This is a cute, extremely funny, romantic story with a surprise Christmas ending!

Black Friday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Black Friday Blog Hop. I am not a Black Friday Shopper.  You ask why?  Because I was on the other side of the door. I worked at Toys R Us for five years.  And I worked every Black Friday.  I would spend Thanksgiving with my family, and then rush home to try to get a few hours sleep before going to work at 3:30 AM in the morning. I'd get to work and fight with the crowds to get through the exit door into the store.  By 4:00 AM the customers are crushed against the front door, some their noses against the glass.  Electronics and the hottest dolls are on the top of everyone's list.  Despite the complete mayhem, I must admit it was one of favorite days of the year to work, along with Christmas Eve. In my eyes, the main theme of all the Black Friday mayhem is love, getting the best deals to make our family, friends and love ones happy. Now you want to talk about love, I am giving away a copy your choice Roses or The Boardwalk . ...

Wounded Warriors Project Blog Hop

Christmas is about family, tradition and memories.  Through the years I've kept up with my grandmother's tradition of making Christmas cookies, which I might add I love doing and sharing. This past year, after being a single parent for 17 years, I met the love of my life and got married three months later.  Now we are making our own traditions and box full of memories. For the first time in over ten years, I have taken out Christmas decoration, which were packed away with no future to be seen again, expect for being passed on to my kids. But not this year.  My husband John and I combined our Christmas decorations, decorated all three floors of our townhouse transporting our home into a winter wonderland. My four foot tree is fully decorated in the den and his eight foot tree is in my living room with a collaboration of both our ornaments making for the perfect tree. We bought new ornament and decoration to make our new memories to go with our new life to...
